We are really keen to keep women and girls playing football and recognise that the move from juniors at a time of broader change in players’ lives can be difficult.
Our ability to offer an under 18s team is highly dependent on numbers, but we have fielded successful teams in this age group in the past, with many of the players joining our open age teams in subsequent years.
Our teams are very welcoming and we seek to keep any players who come to us together with their friends.
We are very happy to talk about options for transition, including the establishment of under 18s teams, support for players in open age teams and also options for joining other clubs. Our primary motivation is to keep girls playing football.
In 2015 we will be working closely with junior teams to assist in this transition. Girls playing in Belsouth Under 16s and Under 18s teams are welcome to join the women’s training sessions on Wednesday evenings.
