Belsouth Grading Days U10 – U18s
For all the latest information on Grading click here: Grading Page
Grading is the only fair way of ensuring teams play with and against players of similar skills and ability. Grading ensures that your child’s involvement in the game, their contribution to the team, as well as their soccer skills are optimised. While children may not always be able to play with their best friends, experience has shown they quickly form friendships and bonds with their new teammates.
Dates for the grading can be found in the Calendar. All players must be registered thru Play Football to attend these sessions.
If you are unable to attend a grading session but still wish to be assessed, please contact our Grading Team belsouthgrading@gmail.com.
Social division players and younger players (Under 9 and below) will be placed in teams according to friendship groups\previous teams and or schools. All efforts will be made to group friends together but are not guaranteed.
Nonregistered players are not covered by Capital Football Insurance and are not allowed to take part in grading, training sessions and games. Belsouth requires all players to be registered online through www.playfootball.com.au before attending any of these events.
When will you be notified of your team?
MinisRoos teams will be sent out closer to the season starting. We do try to get them out by Gala Night but sometimes it cannot be helped due to needing volunteers. If you would like to volunteer please email our President on president@belsouthfootball.club
Juniors it is a bit more work after all grading has been completed and scores have been compiled teams then can start to be put together. Late registrations who have not graded will NOT be placed into a Division 1 or 2 team.
Training
Training days are not set until closer to the season starting due to volunteer times when they are available.
